Paik Wins From Gao, Wang Doubles Through Leow

Level 20 : 8,000/16,000, 2,000 ante

Albert Paik won a small pot off Wenling Gao after defending his big blind to her under-the-gun min raise. The flop came down {6-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} and the action went check, check. The {k-Spades} turn saw Paik check again, Gao bet 38,000 and Paik make the call. The {10-Clubs} river saw the action go check, check and Paik took it down with {k-Diamonds}{10-Spades} for two pair.

Then a huge hand played out between Yang Wang and Ivan Leow. It was Chihwen Chen who lit the fuse with an under-the-gun min-raise. Ivan Leow then juiced it up to 100,000 from one seat over, Yang Wang shoved, Chen folded and Leow called instantly.

Yang Wang: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Ivan Leow: {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}

Wang looked chuffed to be in front and looked a great deal happier after the {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} flop, which gave both players a set. The turn and river ran out {2-Clubs} and {2-Hearts} respectively to give Wang the double.
