High Rollers in the House, More New Arrivals, Lee Rising
In addition to Danny Tang and Wenling Gao, there are two more familiar faces from the OPC High Roller Final Table in the mix today with 6th place finisher Victor Chong and 5th place finisher Chihwen Chen two more in the Main Even mix.
We caught Chen involved in a hand against Taiwan's Patty Lai, picking up the action on a flop of just as Chen fired out a bet of 3,100 into a pot of close to 6,000. Lai clicked it back on the button, making it 6,200 to go with Chen making the call to bring in the turn.
This saw no betting, and neither did the river. Chen rolled over the rather speculative and this was unsurprisingly no good, with Lai turning over to take the pot and climb to 75,000 while Chen dropped to 29,000.
There have been some more new arrivals, with Hong Kong's Ivan Lee and Ken Wong coming in as alternates. Wong's better half Jay Tan is already in action and has run her stack up to 42,000 so Mr. Wong has some catching up to do.
The man still leading the charge as the break approaches is Korea's Jeho Lee, whom we caught in action against two tablemates. It was Lee who was the man driving the action, making it 1,500 to go from early position and picking up two callers in the button and the big blind.
All three players checked the flop, with the coming in on the turn. This saw the big blind check, Lee bet 2,000, the button fold and the big blind call. The river completed the hand and Lee took it down with a 5,500 river bet when his opponent checked for the third time. That pushed the Korean player up 125,000.
