Sparrow Cheung has just taken down a huge pot from tablemate Lang Yi.

There was 34,000 already in the middle when we arrived, and a board that read . Cheung had a bet of 24,000 in front of him, and Yi was in the tank for a while before she eventually made the call. She'd quickly muck though when Cheung flipped over for top pair that had rivered a flush.

Cheung's up to 100,000 now, while Li drops to 76,200.

No Customers for Zheng, Double for Ho

Alvan Zheng did not get his Day 2 off to a great start and had dropped some of his chips already by the time we caught up with him, and he didn't come back with all that many to start with. Zheng has just earned a little bit of breathing room by taking down the blinds and antes.

It was Shizi Xiao who opened the action with a 5,000 raise from the hi-jack and Zheng peeked down at his cards and moved all-in for 29,100 from one seat over. Shizi looked tempted but eventually decided to wait for a better spot, or a better kicker perhaps, as he flashed Zheng the before folding.

A player who did find a customer for his shove was Chi Chung Ho, who moved all-in from under-the-gun over on table 11, and found a caller in the form of Bin Yan in the cutoff.

Yan looked disappointed to be in such bad shape, though it was Ho who was the at-risk player. The case came off the top of the deck as the window card, with the rest of the board running out to give Ho a boat and a double up, and despite making two pair Yin dropped some chips.

Jiang's Feeling Flush

Xin Jiang has just chipped up after hitting a gin flop for his hand, especially when we found out what his opponent JeHo Lee held.

Lee had opened to 3,500 and was called by Cun Zhang before Jiang defended his big blind. The three went to a flop, and it checked to Lee who continued for 4,000. Zhang got out of the way, but Jiang made the call to see the land on the turn. That slowed down the action with both checking.

The board was completed by the river and now Jiang started putting chips together. He tossed out 8,000, and before they could even land on the felt Lee had snap-called. Jiang turned over for a flopped flush (and straight flush draw), and Lee showed the while mucking his kicker. Had a fourth club hit the board this one would most likely have been deadly for Jiang, but as it played out he's now up to 72,000 while Lee's stack drops a bit to 162,000. He's still up on the day though.

Hong Busts Lee, No Callers for Xiao

Hong Kong's Ivan Hon Chong Lee is now out, courtesy of tablemate Xue Chun Hong. We picked up the action in a three-way pot involving Lee, Hong and Xiao Shizi with close to 15,000 in the pot already on a flop of .

Small blind Shizi checked the action over to Hong, who led for 9,800. Lee was already all-in so the action was back on Shizi, who folded, and the cards were turned over.

Lee was at risk and behind and the turn and the river were of no help, meaning Lee's OPC Main Event is now over.

One player who will be sticking around for a bit longer is China's Erik Yin Fei Xiao, who moved all-in from the big blind over the top of a Ronald Yu late position 3,600 open and a Kuok Wai Cheong button call. Both players gave it up leaving Xiao free to pad out his stack for an additional 10,000. Xiao flashed the table , just to show he had the goods.

Jiang Hits Quads to Double Through Lee

Xin Jiang must be JeHo Lee's kryptonite, as after having just taken some of Lee's chips he's now doubled up through him in a massive pot.

Jiang kicked this one off with an open to 3,500 which Lee then three-bet to 9,000. Jiangiang Yu made the call and Jiang called too to see a flop. It checked over to Lee and he continued for 16,000, bringing a fold from Yu. But Jiang then moved all-in for 73,900 and Lee made the call.

Jiang had flopped a set and would have to fade a diamond to survive. The turn then landed to leave Lee drawing dead, and to rub salt in Lee's wound Jiang hit quads on the river.

The two have essentially swapped starting stacks now, with Lee down to 55,000 and Jiang up to 177,600.

A big three-way all-in went down over on table 23 and we arrived in time to catch the aftermath. The three players in question were Hong Kong's Joey Wong with , Hu Chao with and Yang Yun Hing with .

The board had run out to give Hing a set and a triple to 44,000, with Chao spiking his jack to win the side pot and end up with a stack of 32,400, while poor old Joey Wong had to pay off both players and drop down to 52,000.

Lin Takes Out Wang

Shi Qiang Lin played both Day 1a and Day 1b of this Main Event, but couldn't find a bag at the end of each. However, he would make it through the turbo Day 1c flight, and his Day 2 couldn't have kicked off better.

Picking up the action on a flop, Lin checked to his sole opponent Yin Wang and Wang led for 13,000 into the 25,500 pot. Lin then check-raised to 35,000, and after a minute or so of thinking Wang moved all in for somewhere around 55,000. Lin made the call.

Wang had the best of it with his overpair, but Lin had plenty of outs: any heart or king would do it. He improved instantly on the turn, and the river couldn't improve Wang's hand. He took a photo of the board and made his exit, while Lin now stacks up with 184,000.

The Rich Get Richer As Leow Felts Lin

Not only did Ivan Leow win the HK$100K High Roller on Thursday night, he then followed that up by finishing Day 1c of the Main Event as chip leader. His big stack has only increased here in the first level of the day.

Leow opened under the gun to 3,700 and was then three-bet to 9,000 by Zhao Zheng Lin from the UTG+1 seat. Everybody else folded, and when it was back to Leow then came in for a four-bet to 22,000. Lin then snap-shoved for around 53,000, and Leow called just as fast.

Lin desperately needed an ace, but couldn't find one on the flop. The turn gave him more outs, as any ten would now give him the nuts with a broadway straight. Alas, the river changed nothing and he departed. Leow is up to 230,000 now.
