Benyamine Leaves Himself Short

Chris Karagulleyan raised to 34,000 from under the gun. David Benyamine was on the button and reraised to 86,000. Karagulleyan made the call and the two saw a flop of {A-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}. Karagulleyan checked and Benyamine fired 40,000. Karagulleyan just called to see the {5-Hearts} roll off on the turn.

Karagulleyan checked again on fourth street, passing action to his opponent. Benyamine fired 95,000, leaving himself with 55,000 behind. Karagulleyan thought and then moved all in, having Benyamine covered. Benyamine tanked and tanked before eventually tossing in his hand. Karagulleyan showed the {K-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} for the flopped nuts and moved up to 590,000.

Benyamine is now the shortest stack in the tournament with only five and a half big blinds.
