Gruissem Ousts Troyanovskiy

Level 4

Vladimir Troyanovskiy smiled on the turn in a hand where he called all in only to see the bad news.

The hand started with a hijack raise from Philipp Gruissem before Troyanovskiy three-bet to 1,900 from the small blind. The Team Germany player came back with a four-bet to 3,800 and his Russian counterpart called.

The flop fanned {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} and Troyanovskiy check-called 2,000. Gruissem shoved for 8,500 on the {5-Spades} turn and Troyanovskiy check-called all in for less than 8,000 with {a-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a turned full house. It was no good though as Gruissem opened {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} before the river came as the {5-Spades}.

Not a lot is going wrong for the German's today. They were many people's favourites and are showing why.
