Paul Nguyen Mauls Jeff Sluzinski on River

Level 8 : 250/500, 75 ante

From under the gun, Paul Nguyen opened to 1,550 and the action folded round to the small blind who called. Jeff Sluzinski was sitting in the big blind, and he three-bet to 7,000.

Nguyen called, and the small blind folded, before the flop landed {6-Spades}{6-}{2-Spades} and Sluzinski bet out 6,500. Nguyen bumped it up to 21,000 and Sluzinski moved all in for roughly 44,000 with Nguyen calling all-in to be at-risk.

Sluzinski: {Q-}{Q-}
Nguyen: {10-}{10-}

With Sluzinski in dominating shape, the turn of the {6-} changed little, but it would be the devastating {10-} on the river that would ensure Nguyen of a massive double to 105,000 while Sluzinski was left decimated and sitting on just 4,000 in chips.

Level 7 : 200/400, 50 ante

Jeff Sluzinski

Speaking to local tournament grinder and everyone's favorite YouTube personality Jeff "JeffBoski" Sluzinski, he detailed to us a huge double he just received at the hands of Jonathan Dimmig.

Dimmig opened in early position to 1,000 and Sluzinski three-bet the big blind to 4,000 holding {K-}{K-}. Dimmig called, and the flop fell {A-}{K-}{5-} rainbow with Sluzinski continuing for 2,700.

Dimmig called, and when the turn landed the {2-}, Sluzinski bet out 6,800 with Dimmig making the call as the repeating {5-} completed the board on the river.

Sluzinski moved all in for 14,500, and Dimmig called, and then mucked at the sight of Sluzinski's kings-full.

As Sluzinski moved to over 55,000 in chips, Dimmig would be left with just 500 in chips, and consequently eliminated soon after.
