Greg Kelley On the Rise

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Greg Kelley was on one of the last tables to break from inside the Wynn Poker Room, down into the tournament area located just outside the poker room.

Kelley is currently is nursing a chip stack worth 80,300 which puts him right up the top of the leaderboard.

He informed us that he opened {A-}{A-}, was three-bet by a player holding {J-}{J-}, and four-bet shoved. His opponent called, and his aces held true to put him into the current spot he's at.

Eric Baldwin Out, Katie Lindsay On Top

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

It appears as though the tournament has a new chip leader in Katie Lindsay.

It also appears as though Eric Baldwin's seat is now empty, and he was seated on the direct right of Lindsay.

As Lindsay enjoys a glass of wine and some laughs on the table with Lily Kiletto, she is nestled safely behind a stack of 130,000; good for the current tournament chip lead.

And We Are ... Back!

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

The action folded to a player in the cutoff, and he moved all in for 21,100. From the small blind, Jeff Sluzinski iso-shoved, and the big blind folded.

Sluzinski: {A-Spades}{10-Spades}
Opponent: {A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}

With an inevitable chop on the horizon, the dealer fanned a {K-Spades}{2-Spades}{Q-Spades} flop to give Sluzinski the nuts and leave the at-risk playing draw dead.

The turn and river landed the {J-Clubs} and {4-Spades}, and Sluzinski eliminated his opponent and climbed to 70,000 in chips.

Bobby Poe Ships It

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

Catching the action on the flop of {3-Clubs}{5-Diamonds}{7-Spades} with roughly 6,000 in the middle, Bobby Poe checked from out of the small blind to the under the gun player who bet 3,000.

Poe responded by check-raising all in for his last 16,000.

His opponent mulled over a decision for a few moments before eventually folding his hand.

The Ups and Downs for Jeff Sluzinski

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Jeff Sluzinski
Jeff Sluzinski

Jeff Sluzinski found himself all in holding {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} against an opponent's {A-}{K-} for roughly his last 28,000.

The dealer spread a {10-Clubs}{10-Spades}{2-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Spades} board to see Sluzinski flop quads to double to roughly 60,000.

Sluzinski then explained to us that he played roughly a 100,000-chip pot with {A-}{K-} against {A-}{A-} to be left in that spot to double with his two tens.

The very next hand, a player open-shoved his last 11,500 and Sluzinski called from late position.

Sluzinski: {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs}
Opponent: {2-Spades}{2-Hearts}

It was another great spot for Sluzinski, but when the dealer dropped the {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop, it gave his opponents outs to a straight to go along with his two additional deuces.

The turn of the {J-Spades} now opened up backdoor flush outs, and when the dealer burned and turned the {6-Spades} on the river, Sluzinski's opponent found a lucky double as the local tournament regular took a dive down to roughly 48,000 in chips.

Chris Wallace Runs Into Aces

Level 10 : 400/800, 100 ante

Following a raise to 1,600 in the cutoff, Chris Wallace three-bet the button to 4,100. The action folded back to the cutoff, and he called.

Both players checked the {3-Spades}{5-Clubs}{K-Spades} flop as the {Q-Clubs} landed on the turn.

The cutoff led out for 5,500, and Wallace called, as the {6-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

The cutoff shoved his last 12,700 into the middle, and Wallace snap-called. The cutoff tabled his {A-Hearts}{A-Diamonds}, and Wallace mucked and dropped to 11,600 in chips.
