Espeseth Doubles Through Beasy

Level 8 : 400/800, 800 ante

Action was folded to Cody Espeseth, who was in the small blind and raised to 2,800. Joseph Beasy was in the big blind and defended to bring a flop of {8-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Spades}.

Espeseth made a continuation-bet of 3,800 and Beasy called.. The turn came {8-Hearts} and Espeseth checked. Beasy immediately leaned forward and looked over to his right at Espeseth's stack, which was only partly visible due to his arms. He saw enough of what he looked for and put out a bet of 10,000. Espeseth called.

The river came {6-Clubs} and Espeseth checked again. Beasy bet 20,000 and Espeseth tossed in a chip to call.

Beasy tabled {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for a missed Broadway draw and Espeseth showed {a-Hearts}{k-Hearts} for kings up with an ace kicker, good to earn him the pot. Espeseth's stack was then counted and totaled to be 15,600, resulting in Beasy getting a rebate of 4,400 as Espeseth raked in his newly-acquired chips after getting a full double.
