Another Double for Hopkins

Level 33 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Players at the table are starting to call Josh Hopkins "the cat" as he apparently has at least nine lives in the tournament. He doubled again, this time with sixes against the ace-ten of Warren McCallum.

Knutson Four-Bets for the Win

Level 33 : 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

Lyndon Knutson raised to 320,000 from under the gun, and Warren McCallum called from the button. John Hashem was in the small blind, and he bumped it up to 800,000 to go. It folded back to Knutson, and after more than a minute in the tank he reraised to 2,000,000. McCallum tank-folded, but Hashem folded quicker, showing the table a single king.

"Show one," Hashem asked of Knutson, and the {q-Spades} was flipped up as he scooped in the pot.

Hopkins Doubles Again

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Josh Hopkins is still alive after shoving his tiny stack of 325,000 and getting a call from Lyndon Knutson. Hopkins had [As8] while Knutson was playing {q-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. The board of {6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{j-Hearts} missed them both and left Hopkins' ace-high best.

McCallum Doubles, Leaves Hopkins on Crumbs

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Josh Hopkins shoved under the gun, and Warren McCallum tank-called from the small blind. Hopkins' nines were in rough shape to the jacks of McCallum, and while the board of {3-Hearts}{j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades}{9-Clubs} gave them both a set, the jacks of McCallum were still best.

Hopkins Doubles Again

Level 32 : 60,000/120,000, 120,000 ante

Josh Hopkins was all in under the gun for a little over a million chips. John Hashem called from the big blind. Hashem's {k-Clubs}{6-Spades} was behind the {a-Clubs}{5-Hearts} of Hopkins, and the {4-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} board didn't change that.

Hopkins Doubles at the Break

Level 31 : 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

John Hashem opened from the button to 200,000, and Josh Hopkins shoved over top for 820,000. Lyndon Knutson went into the tank for a bit before fodling his big blind, and Hashem had to think a bit before making the call.

Hopkins {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs} were in great shape against {j-Spades}{4-Hearts} of Hashem, and the board of {10-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{q-Hearts} improved him for the double.
