Prevost Flops It, Then Rivers It, Then Busts Following Hand

Level 12 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

After an early position, Ed Prevost limped from the cutoff before the button player raised to 2,400. Both other players made the call to see {k-Spades}{9-Spades}{5-Clubs} on the flop.

It checked to Prevost, and he bet 5,000. The button raised all-in, and after the other player folded, Prevost called with a larger stack. Prevost was playing {k-Hearts}{5-Hearts} versus the {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} of his opponent.

{q-Hearts} on the river looked to counterfiet two pairs as it gave his opponent the bigger two pair, but the {5-Spades} river sealed for Prevost and the pot gave him around 80,000.

However, in th every next hand, Prevost got a flopped set of kings in against the flush draw of Joseph Dumas, and Dumas got there with a larger stack to bust Prevost and vault into the chip lead with around 180,000.
