Heidbrick Shows the Goods

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante
Amanda Heidbrick
Amanda Heidbrick

A player in middle position raised to 1,300 and the next player in line called. Amanda Heidbrick then reraised to 4,200 from the big blind and only the original raiser called to see the {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{6-Clubs} flop.

Action went check-check and the {2-Diamonds} appeared on the turn. Heidbrick bet 6,000, her opponent called, and the {5-Hearts} completed the board on the river.

Heidbrick bet 9,000 and that did the trick as her opponent folded the {q-Clubs}{q-Diamonds} face up.

Heidbrick then showed she had the goods with the {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}.

Sepiol Doubles Through Magnus

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Daniel Sepiol
Daniel Sepiol

We came across the three-handed action on a flop of {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{5-Spades} and a pot of about 8,000.

Nadya Magnus, from the under-the-gun-plus-one position, bet 2,200 and was raised by Daniel Sepiol on her direct left to 5,500. The player on the button folded, bringing the action back to Magnus. She had Sepiol well-covered and decided to put him all-in by moving a stack of pink 5k chips into the middle.

Sepiol made the call and was in great shape with his {j-Spades}{j-Clubs} against the {8-Hearts}{8-Clubs} of Magnus. Sepiol's hand held up as the board completed {7-Spades}{3-Spades}.

Miller Scores Double Knockout

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

The player in the hijack opened for 1,200 only to have Bryant Miller three-bet to 3,600 from the cutoff. The player on the button called, the small blind folded, and the big blind moved all in for 5,900.

The original raiser got out of the way and both Miller and the button called to see a {4-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts} flop. Miller bet 5,000, the button called, and the dealer burned and turned the {2-Spades}.

Miller moved all in for 8,000, the bottom called off for less, and the dealer ran out the {2-Clubs} on the river.

Miller showed the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} and it was good as the button busted with the {k-Spades}{q-Spades} while the big blind simply mucked their hand.
