Darren Chan limped in from under the gun and Weihao Ma shoved from the middle position for 29,500. Mike Takayama three-bet to 75,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Chan who took some time but opted to get out of the way for the cards to go on their backs.

Steele pushed his cards over the line and the dealer revealed Steele held for the flopped two pair as he made his way out of the tournament area. Both stacks were counted just to be sure Hui had him covered which was indeed the case.
