It was a flip that was pivotal to Henderson's future in the Main Event. The 8♦J♣3♣ flop was good for Henderson, but the 3♦ turn provided Campbell with some counterfeit outs. However, the A♦ dropped on the river to give Campbell the winner with a pair of aces, and Henderson had bubbled the final table.

Vitalijs Polukejevs shoved from the hijack for 1,110,000 and Niall Campbell moved all in himself with a stack that covered the table. After the rest of the table folded the cards were flipped over

A race that Polukejevs had to win. The A♦K♠Q♠ flop propelled Campbell into the lead with top two pair. The 5♠ came on the turn and meant Polukejevs only had one out in the deck to win.

Polukejevs was already headed for the cashier's desk in anticipation of being the first casualty of the final table. However, the miracle 8♦ peeled off on the river to give him a set, and Polukejevs miraculously doubled up.

Rory Liffey raised to 260,000 from the small blind holding Q♦9♠ ,and Vitalijs Polukejevs defended out of the big blind with Q♣7♦.

Liffey bet 350,000 on the 7♥4♦2♦ flop, and Polukejevs called.

Liffey bet again on the A♦ turn, this time for 500,000. Polukejevs had roughly 1,700,000 behind in his stack, and after pondering for a while, opted to fold and forfeit the pot to Liffey.
