International Poker Open 2024 Feature Table

So far, three of the six initial flights for the €250,000 guaranteed International Poker Open Main Event have been completed here at the Bonnington Dublin Hotel, with the final three scheduled for today and tomorrow, leading up to Day 2 on Sunday, October 27.

A total of 459 entries have been registered so far with only 67 managing to secure their spot on Day 2. Last Night, Bolivia's Rodrigo Diaz positioned himself in the top spot with a stack of 452,000. However, Day 1d is upon us today at 1 p.m. local time and is anticipated to be the biggest field yet.

Day 1d of the €350 buy-in Main Event, which is the fourth of six starting flights, is set to begin at 1 p.m. Each player will start with 30,000 chips, and the levels will last 40 minutes each. The plan again is to play through 15 levels, with late registration open until the end of Level 9. Players also have the option for one reentry per flight if needed.

Blinds will start at 100/100 with no big blind ante, with every subsequent level then including a big blind ante.

Today will also mark the first turbo flight, as Day 1e offers an 8:00 p.m. start with shorter 20-minute levels for a faster way to find a bag for Day 2.

Once Day 1d concludes, the players who make it through will join those who advanced from the other five flights for Day 2, which is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, October 27.

Arriving at the table, Lee Mckay was all-in for his last 20,000 with Stefan Ebinger trying to send him to the rail.

Lee Mckay : A10 All in
Stefan Ebinger : AA

Mckay would need a miracle to crack the aces of Ebinger. The KJ7 flop did give Mckay a gutshot, as the 5 turn improved him to a flush draw. However, the 4 came on the river and Mckay was out.

Jamie Cunningham
Jamie Cunningham

Jamie Cunningham opened to 3,500 from middle position and was immediately three-bet to 9,000 by Gabor Csire in the next position. When it folded back to Cunningham, he made the call.

Cunningham check-called a bet of 8,000 from Csire on the J83 flop.

Both players checked the 9 turn and 4 river. Cunningham showed AK for just ace-high, which was good as Csire had AQ for ace-high but with a worse kicker.
