Rivera Gets Value

Aaron Rivera called in middle position, with the small blind coming along and the big blind checking to the K♥J♥2♣ flop.

All three players checked to the 2♠ turn, where the big blind fired 1,200 into the middle. Both Rivera and the small blind called.

The 8♦ river saw action check to Rivera, who slid out a bet of 2,500. The small blind made the call, while the big blind folded.

Rivera showed A♥2♦ for trip deuces, good enough for the qualifier from Ev'rybody's Pub in Rhode Island to earn the pot as the small blind mucked.
