After defending his big blind against Marko Nortje, Dusan Pavlovic check-jammed the K♠Q♥J♦ flop for 208,000. Nortje had invested another 22,000 and reluctantly called.
"You are drawing dead Marko," Patrice Ah-Nien joked and was almost spot on.
Dusan Pavlovic: K♦Q♠
Marko Nortje: K♣7♦
The 5♦ turn and 2♠ river gave Pavlovic another double.
Jay Kamli got it in bad with Q♥8♥ against the 9♦9♥ of Tome Dinh and another player remarked "you only need a queen". That queen came on the Q♠7♦3♣2♥5♠ board.
Kamli then flipped with nines versus king-queen and earned another double.
Aidan Jacobs raised to 36,000 with the K♣3♣ in the small blind and was called by Moussa Soililti in the big blind with the J♦4♦. On the K♠K♥J♣ flop, Jacobs bet small for 21,000 to get called and did so again for 50,000 on the 7♦ turn.
The J♥ river gave both players a full house and Jacobs now fired a massive bet of 500,000. Soililti called to get shown the bad news.
The tournament was supposed to go into hand-for-hand mode on the money bubble but that turned out to not be needed as one more elimination let the bubble burst.
Over on table five, a larger pot evolved to the K♣10♣10♦9♣2♠ river on which Franco Da Matta ended up all-in and at risk.
Dimitrii Hadjipaschali had the easiest move of his entire poker career with the 10♠10♥ for flopped quads. Da Matta's A♣5♣ for the ace-high flush went down in the flames and floor staff counted all remaining players before confirming that the bubble had indeed burst.
Da Matta won't take home a cash prize this time but receives a seat for the next APC Main Event.
Tutu Russon quickly called the all-in of Anuj Sareen when the tournament was still two away from the money and was way ahead with Q♠Q♦ against the K♥8♥ of Sareen.
The K♦8♦3♥9♥J♥ board gave Sareen first two pair and then running cards to a flush for the double.
Steven Radloff three-bet on the button and then called the all-in of Shazin Rehmtullah, who was dressed for the occasion in a suit after he had some business meetings to attend earlier.
Shazin Rehmtullah: A♥K♥
Steven Radloff: 6♣2♣
The A♣K♠3♣5♣8♣ board gave Radloff the winning flush, as Rehmtullah couldn't improve to a full house.
Mr KING was then all-in against Radloff on the 10♣9♣6♥ flop.
Mr KING: Q♠J♣
Steven Radloff: A♦9♦
The 2♣ turn and 5♦ river were both blanks to reduce the field by two players in quick succession.
Moussa Soililti was all-in for 462,000 preflop on the live stream table against Costa Giannakopoulos in the most classic of flips.
Moussa Soililti: Q♠Q♦
Costa Giannakopoulos: A♥K♣
No ace or king came on the 5♠4♦4♥8♠9♠ runout and Soililti jumped to nearly a million in chips.
Three ways to the 6♠4♦2♠ flop, Luqman A checked and Benjamin Lingenfelder Jr bet 45,000. Reagan Naidoo called on the button and Luqman A folded. On the 5♦ turn, Lingenfelder Jr bet another 130,000 and Naidoo folded but suspected a bluff.
Lingenfelder Jr first showed the A♦ and then also exposed the A♣ too.
Wayne McGregor doubled with A♣A♠ on a board of 9♥6♥4♠2♣3♣ on a table filled with big stacks and the same then saw Panayiotis Giannakopoulos bet the Q♣9♠5♠9♥ turn for 90,000. Reagan Naidoo folded and Giannakopoulos went back to where he was half an hour ago.
