Benjamin Lingenfelder Jr told Panayiotis Giannakopoulos that he had "a pretty good start" after entering the day with only six twenty and another player to have done well in the early stages is Alfred Magani. He caught Steven Radloff bluffing on an eight-high board and called with the A♣8♣ to beat K♠Q♦ in showdown. After that, Magani won another big pot to reach seven figures.
One table over, Cliton Taliwanth raised to 20,000 and Marko Nortje called. Jay Kamli jammed for 208,000 in the small blind and collected the pot.
