Horrid Few Minutes Send Jardien Packing
Level 20
: Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante
Arnas Grygalis arrived more than two hours late and found his stack blinded down but the money bubble had burst.
In one of the first hands he played, Grygalis barreled through a board of Q♠9♠2♠2♦3♦ and jammed the river with the covering stack against Jaryd Jardien, who used multiple time banks before he folded.
Mark Tao then jammed 120,000 with the K♠5♠ and Jardien called with the A♥J♥ in the big blind. The 5♣4♣3♠K♦Q♥ board gave Tao two pair.
Grygalis then raised to 30,000 and called the shove by Jardien albeit reluctantly.
Jaryd Jardien: A♦K♠
Arnas Grygalis: 10♣9♣
The A♣J♣6♥Q♣4♥ board improved the Lithuanian to a flush.
In between these hands, Moussa Soililti had also been eliminated from one table over.
