Taliwanth Also Takes From Giannakopoulos
Cliton Taliwanth raised to 120,000 with the 9♠5♣ in the small blind and Anuj Sareen called out of the big blind holding the A♦3♦. The Q♣J♥2♥ flop favoured the preflop aggressor as he bet for the win.
Tome Dinh then opened to 100,000 first to act with the K♦Q♥ and his previous nemesis Taliwanth flatted the A♥10♦ in the cutoff, Costa Giannakopoulos called with his 10♠7♥ in the big blind as well. The 10♣6♠4♥ flop saw Giannakopoulos lead for 250,000 with his top pair.
Dinh placed his time bank chips out in front and studied his table neighbour before he folded, forfeiting one time bank extension. Taliwanth just called with the superior kicker and the 9♦ followed on the turn. Giannakopoulos fired a far bigger second bet of 550,000 and Taliwanth kept him honest with the second flat call.
The 5♦ river completed the board and Giannakopoulos slowed down to check, Taliwanth checked back and won the next pot to pull way out in front.
