Jacobs Chips Up Before the Break
Level 25
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Aidan Jacobs raised to 100,000 with the A♦Q♥ and was called by Dimitri Hadjipaschali in the small blind with the ]KcJd] and Tome Dinh, who held A♥5♣ in the big blind. The A♠Q♠8♠ flop gave Jacobs the top two pair which he bet for 90,000. Hadjipaschali folded and Dinh called.
The 6♠ turn brought the fourth spade and both players checked to the ]Kh] on the river. Both checked once more and Jacobs won the pot with his aces and queens before they headed on a 15-minute break with seven remaining.
