Assorted Late Night Counts

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

With the completed board showing J♥J♣2♣2♥2♦, Jay Kamli check-called a bet of 16,000 by Dimitri Hadjipaschali and Muaaz Gani jokingly declared "flush" for the latter. Hadjipaschali had Q♦9♥ to play the board, and the meaningless flush was with Kamli as they chopped the board.

Grygalis Bad Beats Jedrzejczyk

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Lukasz Jedrzejczyk
Lukasz Jedrzejczyk

Lukasz Jedrzejczyk raised to 5,000 in the cutoff and Nathan Pan called in the small blind. Arnas Grygalis then three-bet big to 27,000 in the big blind for Jedrzejczyk to push all-in. Pan sigh-folded and Grygalis went into the tank.

"Ace king or kings," the Lithuanian said after he had asked for a count on the shove, which was for 177,000 total. After using a time bank, Grygalis called.

Lukasz Jedrzejczyk: A♣K♦ All in
Arnas Grygalis: A♦Q♣

The J♥4♥2♥Q♥5♣ board delivered the bad beat. Grygalis' stack was more than 180,000 and that sent Jedrzejczyk to the rail in the final level of the night.

On a heads-up turn of A♦9♥8♦6♥, Maria Cardoso on the button bet 6,000 and Cliton Taliwanth check-called from the small blind. They checked the 6♣ on the river and Cardoso's K♥K♣ won the pot.

Chipando Takes From Cardoso

Level 8 : Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante

Manuel Cardoso bet the 10♥9♠6♣6♦ turn for 10,000 and Clayton Chipando raised to 20,000 two seats over, which Cardoso called. The Portuguese bet the Q♠ river for 25,000 and Chipando min-raised again to 50,000.

Cardoso used one time bank and folded.

"Good fold," Chipando told him and flashed the 6♠ only.

Yasir Eliminated by Msuya

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Muhammad Yasir was all-in for some 107,000 on the K♥8♣2♥3♦6♥ board and Abu Msuya had reason to celebrate, as his J♥10♥ represented the superior flush to beat the 9♥8♥ of Yasir to reduce the field by one contender.

Schwartz Calls Down Chipando

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Robert Schwartz
Robert Schwartz

With the completed board reading Q♣8♠6♣9♠K♥, Clayton Chipando made it 30,000 to go from the cutoff. Robert Schwartz called after some consideration on the button and Chipando shrugged "missed the flush" when he exposed his 5♣2♣.

Schwartz had that pipped albeit just with the 7♦6♦ for the bottom pair to win the nice pot.

Freeroll for Pan Ends in a Chop

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

On the heads-up turn of K♠J♦10♥A♠, Nathan Pan was all-in with Q♠3♠ for broadway and had a freeroll against the Q♣10♦ of Gavin Sardini. Another spade was needed for the double but the 2♣ river brought no such thing.

Pather Among the Latest Casualties

Level 7 : Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

"I don't put you on an ace," Kumi Pather said after he called the shove by Aidan Jacobs on the A♦K♥5♠Q♥4♣ river. That assessment was correct, as Jacobs didn't have an ace but Q♣5♥ for two pair instead. It beat Pather's K♣J♦ for the second pair and he quickly headed out.

Nathan Pan came the other way after he re-entered into the same seat.
