Hugues "Chotec" Mazerolle defended from the big blind after Bruno Pinto opened from the button.
Pinto continued for 800 on a flop of 4♠6♠2♦ but Chotec check-raised to 2,600. Pinto made the call.
Both players checked the 10♦ turn and the 9♠ river, so Chotec flipped over his K♠7♣. Pinto had 8♦8♠ and scooped the pot.
The action was picked up on a board of 6♥A♥A♦8♣ with 11,000 in the pot. Teddy Benaim in the small blind bet 3,000 and Claudio Rocha called from the button.
The A♠ completed the board and Benaim bet 10,000. Rocha went into the tank but folded.

Jorge Feio raises to 1,000 from the cutoff. Leo Lenoir on the button called and Yves Maison defended from the big blind.
Feio continued for 1,800 on 6♣7♥J♦, but both Lenoir and Maison didn't back down and called.
Feio fired a second barrel to 5,000 on the 10♣ turn but it was too much for his opponents who folded.
Jose Lopez opened from under the gun and was called by Hector Fernandez in the small blind.
Lopez continued for 500 on a flop of Q♦3♦9♠ but Fernandez check-raised to 2,200. Lopez quickly folded.
In the next hand, Fernandez opened to 700 from the button. Adrian Guillamon De La Cruz in the small blind called.
Both players checked the 10♠4♥9♣ flop leading to the 10♦ turn where Guillamon De La Cruz bet 1,000. Fernandez called to find the 3♦ river.
This last card didn't bring more action so Guillamon De La Cruz revealed his 8♦8♣, but he lost to Fernandez's Q♣9♠.

French poker streamer Ilan Cukrowicz was eliminated in the first hand today. He wrote on Instagram that he opened from the button and that Francisco Peras in the big blind called.
All the chips went into the middle on a board of J♦4♣Q♠ with 4♠4♥ for Cukrowicz and Q♥Q♣ for Peras. "I thought he couldn't have queens or jacks," he added.
The 10♣5♦ runout completed the board and he was eliminated.
As on the previous days, the action began with Joao Vieira. “Welcome everybody. First, I would like a round of applause for the biggest tournament ever to be hosted in Portugal,” he said, before announcing: “Shuffle up and deal!”
