Play was scheduled to begin at 3:00pm today, but we have just learned from our French colleagues that we will be delayed for a little while. The tournament room has undergone a complete overhaul in preparation for the final two days, including the addition of a featured table stage and tons of camera and broadcasting equipment. Final preparations are still underway, and we expect the starting time to be pushed back by close to an hour.

We will keep you updated on the anticipated starting time.

Welcome back to our coverage of the Partouche Poker Tour main event from the Palm Beach Casino in Cannes, France. After a full day of play yesterday, 48 players have made it into the money and will return today to continue their run to the final table.

Patrice Sitbon will begin with the big chip lead, sitting with 867,100 chips. Despite his position, things won't be easy for the leader. Gus Hansen, both Robert and Michael Mizrachi, and Patryk Hildebranksi are all within striking distance. Also in the mix are a number of amateurs who have proven themselves capable up to this point.
