Grinder Gets Run Down By Overcards

The Grinder
The Grinder
From middle position, Bruno Mignini opened with a raise to 3,700. Michael Mizrachi was in the cutoff seat, and he made the call. The two men went heads up to a flop that revealed {2-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {4-Spades}. Mignini checked, and The Grinder put out a small bet of 1,500, drawing a check-raise to 4,000. Grinder called.

Fourth street brought the {10-Clubs}, and Mignini kept the heat on with a bet of 9,000. Mizrachi calmly plucked four T5,000 off his stack and put in a raise to 20,000. Mignini called.

The last card off the deck was the {Q-Diamonds}, and Mignini passed. Mizrachi grabbed 30,000 chips and put them into the pot. Surprisingly, Mignini check-raised for the second time, this time moving all in for a total of 42,100. Grinder called, and he watched as Mignini tabled the stone cold nuts: {A-Spades} {K-Hearts}. Mizrachi shook his head in disappointment as he twirled his cards in the air, flashing the {4-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}. He dropped 70,000 chips in that pot, and he now sits on about 125,000.
