Roberto Vahlis Eliminated From Feature

Level 28 : 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Preben Stokkan raised it up to 2,600,000 under the gun, with action folding all the way around to Roberto Vahlis in the big blind. Vahlis 3-bet all in for his last 20,000,000, and was quickly called by Stokkan.

Vahlis was in trouble, as his {k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} was dominated by Stokkan's {k-Hearts}{q-Hearts}. The {a-Clubs}{5-Spades}{4-Spades} flop was no help to either player, although Vahlis picked up chop outs on the {3-Spades} Turn. The board paired on the {4-Hearts} river, which sent Vahlis to the payout desk to collect his 18th place money.

Horak Rams The Turn

Level 28 : 800,000/1,600,000, 1,600,000 ante

Felipe Ramos opened with a raise to 2,600,000 under the gun, with action folding round to Jiri Horak in the small blind, who put in the 3-bet to 8,600,000. Ramos made the call and the two players took a flop.

Horak continued for 6,000,000 on the {2-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{k-Clubs} flop, with Ramos making the call. The dealer burned and turned the {10-Diamonds}, which Horak bombed for 25,500,000, asking Ramos for most of his stack to make the call. Ramos didn't look convinced, but folded nonetheless, with Horak dragging in another pot.

Billard Bombs The Turn

Level 27 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Francois Billard opened with a raise to 2,600,000 from under the gun, before Pavel Gonchakov put in a 3-bet to 8,100,000 from the small blind. After some consideration, Billard made the call and the two players took a {9-Spades}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} flop.

Both players checked, with Gonchakov also checking the {7-Spades} turn, prompting Billard to fire out 6,000,000. That was enough to see Gonchakov fold and earn Billard the pot.

Charlie Godwin

Charlie Godwin shipped all in for her last 11.3 million in middle position and was called by Graham Ivany in the cutoff. Godwin turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Spades} but was dominated by Ivany's {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}.

The board ran out {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Spades}{2-Spades} and Gowin was unable to come from behind. She put up a strong fight and was the last lady standing, but her tournament life has come to an end in 19th place.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{q-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Perceval led out for 9.5 million. Shatilov called and the {7-Spades} peeled off on the turn. Both players checked to the {k-Hearts} on the river and Perceval announced all in. Shatilov instantly mucked his hand and Perceval raked in the pot.

Ramos Picks Up The Change

Level 27 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

On the feature table, Roberto Vahlis opened with a raise to 2,500,000 from the cutoff, picking up Felipe Ramos on the button as well as Pavel Gonchakov and Preben Stokkan in the blinds.

Cruz Makes the Nut Flush

Level 27 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Josafat Cruz raised to 2.6 million from the hijack and was called by Sam Greenwood on the button and Jonas Gjelstad in the big blind. The flop came {a-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} and the action checked around to the {7-Diamonds} on the turn.

All three players checked one more time and the {3-Hearts} completed the board. Gjelstad checked again and Cruz finally made a bet of 7.5 million. Greenwood called and Gjelstad folded. Cruz turned over {k-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} for the nut flush and Greenwood's cards hit the muck.

Gjelstad Can't Shake Dizenzo

Level 27 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Dan Dizenzo raised to 2.6 million from under the gun and Jonas Gjelstad called from the big blind. The flop came {9-Spades}{6-Spades}{5-Spades} and Gjelstad check-called a continuation bet of 3.0 million from Dizenzo.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {4-Hearts} on the river. Gjelstad led out for 4.7 million and Dizenzo instantly tossed in a chip to signify a call. Gjelstad turned over {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} but Dizenzo showed {8-Clubs}{8-Hearts} to take down the pot.
