On the feature table, Preben Stokkan raised pre-flop to 3,000,000 before Shyngis Satubayev 3-bet shoved for his remaining 32,000,000. After confirming the total amount with the dealer, Stokkan made the call and the cards were on their backs.

Satubayev needed help, with his {7-Diamonds}{7-Clubs} trailing behind Stokkan's {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Said help failed to arrive on the {2-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds} runout, and Satubayev left the tournament area in 16th place.

Preben Stokkan raised to 3.4 million from under the gun with {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts} and was called by Pavel Gonchakov in the hijack with {a-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}. Graham Ivany was in the big blind and shoved all in for 31 million with {8-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}. Stokkan shoved all in over the top and Gonchakov got out of the way.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{2-Spades}{7-Spades} and Stokkan's pocket queens held up to eliminate Ivany in 15th place.

Gjelstad Cracks Kings to Double Up

Level 29 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Jonas Gjelstad and Dan Dizenzo got all of the chips in the middle preflop with Gjelstad being the player at risk for 67.2 million. Dizenzo was way ahead when he turned over {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds} and Gjelstad showed {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}.

However, the flop came {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{3-Spades} with the ace right in the window. The {a-Diamonds} landed on the turn which left Dizenzo drawing dead to the {2-Clubs} on the river. Gjelstad got a massive double up to move into second in chips and the top spot on his table.

Cruz Gets Bruised

Level 29 : 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

Felipe Ramos opened under the gun with a raise to 4,500,000, with action folding to Josafat Cruz on the button. Cruz put out a 3-bet to 12,000,000, prompting Ramos to put the entirety of his remaining 61,000,000-chip stack in the middle. He was quickly called by Cruz and the cards were on their backs.

Ramos had the goods, {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs} and needed to fade one of two remaining jacks versus Cruz's {j-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}. There was no help for Cruz on the {10-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{5-Hearts} runout, and Ramos doubled up, leaving Cruz with just 10 big blinds.
