Welcome to the German Poker Championships at King’s Casino on the Czech Republic–Germany border in the charming town of Rozvadov nestled in the ancient Bohemian Forest.

The casino has recently been rapidly expanding with a new poker room added and brand new hotel expected to be opened right next door in the next few days.

Rozvadov is quickly gaining popularity as a destination for poker players and gamblers from all over the word and is earning the nickname ‘RozVegas’ after the gambler’s home Las Vegas.

Wednesday 9th August sees the partypoker LIVE German Poker Championships High Roller Day 1 kick off. This is an 8-max event with a €250K guarantee. The buy-in is €5,000 + €300 for a 100,000 starting stack and blinds will be 45 minutes.

Cards are in the air at 6 p.m. for the High Roller with late registration open until 12:30 a.m.

Plenty of Team partypoker will be joining battle on the felt including Boris Becker, Sam Trickett, Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Anatoly Filatov, Kristen Bicknell, Marcel Luske, and Natalia Breviglieri. They will likely be joined by a host of top German Pros and other stellar names from around the world.

The German Poker Championships consist of a multi-day poker tournament held both online and live. It has a massive €1,000,000 guaranteed prizepool including at least €200,000 for the winner.

The GPC started with four weeks of Online Phase 1s running every Sunday on partypoker from 9th July. From 9th August 2017 Live Phase 1s and Day 1s will run at King’s Casino.
