In one hour from now at 12 p.m. noon local time, the third and final starting day of the 2017 partypoker LIVE German Poker Championship kicks off at the King's Casino in Rozvadov. Throughout the first two starting days in the past two days, a total of 360 entries emerged, some of which initially earned their entry through partypoker, and at least 27 players brought stacks in for Day 1c.

The structure remains the same, as the same eight blind levels are played. However, the level duration for the turbo heat is 20 minutes only and Day 1c will conclude less than half an hour before Day 2 gets underway at 3 p.m. local time.

Leading the field thus far after Day 1a and Day 1b in Europe's biggest poker arena is Viktor Langlitz with a massive stack of 8,058,000, followed by partypoker sponsored pro Anatoly Filatov (5,500,000) and Sonay Kehya (4,667,000). Whether or not one from the turbo heat will be able to catch up on those remains to be seen and the PokerNews live reporting team will be there to provide the action from the tables.

Matthias De Meulder Buys In and Takes Early Pot

Level 1 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

Ivan Curic checked it over to Matthias De Meulder on the turn of a board reading {q-Spades}{k-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}.

De Meulder bet 25,000 and after studying the board for a time Curic called. The river was the {k-Diamonds} and another check from Curic saw De Meulder mull it over before betting 77,000.

Curic smelled a rat, “You can’t win without betting eh?” he said. It worked thought as Curic reluctantly parted with his cards and the pot was pushed to De Meulder.

De Meulder is another player who has bought in directly to this turbo flight.
