Kabrhel Catches van Wesemael Bluffing

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Aleksandar Tomovic entered with a fresh stack of one million while Sander van Wesemael in the big blind and Martin Kabrhel got into a bigger pot. Until the river of the board {Q-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}, there were 240,000 in the middle and the Dutchman checked. Kabrhel bet 101,000 and van Wesemael check-raised to 300,000.

"I think it is a bluff," Kabrhel said and instigated some table chat. Ultimately, he called and van Wesemael briefly flashed his cards while Kabrhel won the pot with {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts} for trips queens.

Little Buddha with Big Stack

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The player that had previously doubled Gerhard Cit became the next casualty here on Day 1c. The lion's share of his stack for more than 400,000 each was already in the middle when the board showed {Q-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{J-Hearts}{3-Spades} and he moved all in. Little Buddha was his only remaining opponent and asked for a count.

The all in was for 169,000 and Little Buddha called, then emerged victorious with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} as the opponent only had {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} for a bluff.

Per Neumann Busts With Aces

Level 4 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Nick Krasniosi bet 230,000 on a flop of {q-Hearts}{j-Hearts}{4-Spades} and Per Neumann raised to 400,000.

Krasniosi responded by moving all in and Neumann wasn’t quite sure what to do. He agonies for a couple of minutes before calling.

Krasniosi showed {j-Clubs}{j-Spades} for top set and Neumann showed {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and the river the {2-Clubs}.

Neumann was felted and said he could have maybe found a fold there but other players said a fold in that spot would have been and error.

Aleksandar Tomovic
Aleksandar Tomovic

Aleksandar Tomovic late-registered for Day 1c and now sits atop a massive stack of more than three million. The latest hand saw him score a double knockout in spectacular fashion.

After Tomovic raised, Kadir Uzunoglu moved all in for his last 135,000 and Little Buddha called. Tomovic reraised to 571,000 and Little Buddha called with some 840,000 behind to see a flop of {5-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{2-Clubs}. Little Buddha was first to act and moved all in, and Tomovic called after getting a count.

Kadir Uzunoglu: {A-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Little Buddha: {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}
Aleksandar Tomovic: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

The {9-Diamonds} turn left Little Buddha drawing dead for the hefty side pot and Uzunoglu could all but chop it. However, the {2-Hearts} river was a blank and Tomovic claimed the entire massive pot.
