Late registration for the 1pm flight of today's Grand Prix Austria will close in 45 minutes, at the end of the break following level 8.
Anyone unfortunate to bust out after late reg closes will have the option to buy in to the 7pm flight later on, or the hyper-turbo (10-minute blind levels) at 1030pm.
We joined the action on table 24, on a board reading with around 6,000 in the middle.
Julia Tsyrkin checked from the small blind, with Joachim Huth betting 3,500, and Lubomir Balaz making the call. Tsyrkin then applied the pressure with a check-raise to 10,000, forcing Huth to make what looked like an agonising decision. After a sip of his drink and a look to the heavens, Huth eventually folded his hand, before Balaz instantly cranked it up to 35,000.
A look of confusion spread across Tsyrkin's face before she eventually folded as well, with Balaz dragging in an almost 30,000-chip pot right before the break.
Peter Fally leads the way after eight levels, with his stack of 218,000 marginally in front of Robert Stanislav Gruszecki's 216,000.
We close registration with 414 total entrants, meaning we will be playing down until there are 41 left, all of whom will collect themselves a €250 min-cash at the end of day.

The players in seat 8, seat 9 and Afshin Fattahi in seat 1 were all-in. Fattahi and the player in seat 9 had pretty even stacks and they both had the other player covered.
