Tsessarskiy Busts in Three-Way All In

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Maxim Babko was in prime position to send two opponents to the rail in Alexey Tsessarskiy and Aleksandr Gofman, but the latter spiked a two-outer to double up for 8,125,000.

Alexey Tsessarskiy: {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}
Aleksandr Gofman: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Maxim Babko: {A-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}

The board of {7-Clubs}{6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{K-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds} provided one of the two remaining queens in the deck on the river and the table broke right after.

Razov Checks Out

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

In a battle cutoff versus small blind, David Laka and Anatoliy Zyrin got into a raising war that saw the latter end up all in and at risk for 7,775,000 with the {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Clubs}. Laka had {A-Diamonds}{10-Spades} and the board came {8-Spades}{7-Hearts}{4-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{2-Hearts}.

Just before the end of the level, though, Laka got most of those chips back when winning a flip with {8-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} against the {A-Clubs}{Q-Spades} of Andrey Razov.

Break

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

The 73 remaining players are going on a break. When they return they will play one more level. If by that time the field has not reached 54 players, they will continue until such time as they do so.

Level: 21

Blinds: 150,000/300,000

Ante: 300,000

Three Down Right Away

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Lev Moiseyenko busted in one of the first hands after coming back from the break, and he was closely followed by Vadim Volkhonsky and Karen Karamanov.

Badra Bazba was more fortunate as he more than tripled up his short stack. Bazba shoved for 800,000 and big stack Aleksandr Merzvhinskiy called from one seat over. Steve O'Dwyer moved all in for 5,550,000 in the cutoff and that forced out Merzvhinskiy.

Badra Bazba: {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Steve O'Dwyer: {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}

The board came {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{A-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and Bazba held up with his pair of tens.

Steve O'Dwyer Eliminated

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Steve O'Dwyer

After a raise by Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy, Steve O'Dwyer moved all in for just over 15 big blinds out of the small blind. Merzvhinsky called and the cards were tabled.

Steve O'Dwyer: {A-Spades}{7-Clubs}
Aleksandr Merzhvinskiy: {Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts}

The board of {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{2-Spades}{4-Diamonds} provided a jack on the flop and that sent O'Dwyer to the rail, while Merzhvinskiy cemented his role near the top of the leader board.

Daria Feshchenko Doubles Up...Again

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Daria Feshchenko
Daria Feshchenko

Daria Feshchenko has been busy over the course of the last few levels, having doubled up at least twice before this hand.

A player in the hijack opened to 700,000 and Gylbert Drolet three-bet to 1,350,000 from the cutoff. Feshchenko was in the small blind and four-bet all in for 4,575,000. The initial raiser folded and Drolet called.

Drolet: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Feshchenko: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The board ran out {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{a-Spades} and Feshchenko doubled up.

Ivan Arbatsky
Ivan Arbatsky

While Ivan Arbatsky was a big stack early and mid way through Day 3, Karen Arutyunyan took over that role in the last few hours and just won a flip to bust Arbatsky.

Arbatsky was all in for 9.7 million with the {A-Spades}{K-Clubs} and Arutyunyan looked him up with the {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}. The board came {10-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{2-Spades}{2-Clubs}{10-Spades} and that was it for Arbatsky.

Another Three Down

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Within quick succession, Yevgeniy Alikin, Nikolay Prokhorskiy and Denis Ten have been sent to the rail. Ten bet a flop of {8-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} against table neighbor Andrey Tkachenko and shoved the {K-Clubs} turn only to see Tkachenko snap-call with {2-Spades}{2-Diamonds} for a set. Ten only had pocket fives and the {6-Clubs} river was a blank.

Zhdan Runs Out of Chips

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

The next trip that joined the rail included Oleg Zhdan. He was down to 3.5 million and moved all in from the hijack, while Dmitriy Kopyl called in the cutoff.

Zhdan showed {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades} and was in need of help, as Kopyl had him dominated with {J-Spades}{J-Clubs}. The {J-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop was bad for Zhdan, as he now even needed running cards in order to stay in contention. However, the {8-Clubs} turn and {3-Spades} river brought no miracle and Kopyl raked in the pot.
