The partypoker MILLIONS North America $1,100 Open has 68 players left going into the final day of play and is set to begin at 12:00 PM EST. Martin Jacobson (36,475,000) has accumulated one of the top stacks going into Day 3 after starting Day 2 with a stack well below average.

Jacobson is the 2014 WSOP Main Event champion with over $16.5 million in career earnings and will be looking to add a partypoker MILLIONS North America title to his tournament history. The Swede is going into Day 3 fifth in chips and will surely be someone to watch for as the field shrinks down to the final table.

Some notable players that Jacobson will have to go through to capture a title include chip leader Anthony Ruberto (40,175,000), Steven Tripp (38,900,000), and Jean-Francois M (37,425,000) who all sit in the top three positions of the leaderboard. Some other notable runners still chasing the title include bracelet winners Chris Moorman (36,300,000) and Mohsin Charania (26,400,000).

When the action resumes the blinds will continue on level 25 at 300,000/600,000 with a 600,000 button ante. Players are all guaranteed $4,000 and the money gets a serious pay increase as the runners hit the final table. A top nine finish will pocket a respectable $12,000 with the winner of the tournament taking home a payday of $210,000.

The PokerNews team will be live reporting this event from the Playground Poker Club.

Alexander Hartung: {a-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Mohsin Charania: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}

The board came down {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Hartung's ace-high was good to take down the pot. Charania was the first of the big three names eliminated that were still in the field starting Day 3.

The action folded to Karim-olivier Kamal on the button who raised it up to 12.0 million. Martin Jacobson was in the big blind and three-bet to 36.0 million, only to have Kamal four-bet shove all in. Jacobson instantly called and the cards were on their backs.

Karim-olivier Kamal: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Martin Jacobson: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Jacobson was well out front with his pocket kings and looking for a big double up through the chip leader. The flop fell {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and Kamal picked up the nut flush draw to go with his one overcard. The turn brought the {10-Hearts} giving Kamal the flush and Jacobson was left drawing dead to the {q-Diamonds} on the river.

Chris Moorman opened to 11.0 million from the cutoff and Alexander Lynskey moved all in for 54.0 million from the button. Karim-Olivier Kamal called the shove and Moorman folded. Both players opened their hands and Lynskey was at risk.

Karim-Olivier Kamal: {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}
Alexander Lynskey: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The flop came down {q-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} and Kamal now needed to dodge an ace or heart to take Lynskey out of the tournament. The {2-Spades} on the turn and {8-Clubs} on the river changed nothing and Lynskey was eliminated.

Karim-olivier Kamal: {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}
Aaron Duczak: {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

Kamal had a stranglehold on the hand and the flop of {k-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{3-Spades} never changed anything. The turn brought the {3-Hearts} and the river landed the {7-Spades}. Kamal's pair of nines held up to eliminate Duczak in fourth place.

Chris Moorman shoved his last 45.0 million all in from the button and Kauvsegan Ehamparam snap called from the big blind. The players rolled over their hands and Moorman was at risk.

Kauvsegan Ehamparam: {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}
Chris Moorman: {q-Hearts}{8-Hearts}

The flop came {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and Moorman would need to hit an eight or a backdoor flush to keep his tournament life alive. The {9-Diamonds} on the turn and {9-Spades} on the river did not help Moorman, as Ehamparam's kings took down the pot and the secured a top-two finish.

Karim-olivier Kamal: {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}
Kauvsegan Ehamparam: {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}

The flop came {7-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{10-Clubs} and Kamal hit a pair of tens to take the lead. The turn was the {2-Spades} and the river brought the {9-Clubs}. Kamal's pair of tens held up to eliminate Ehamparam in second place.
