Deeb's Kings No Good

Level 21 : 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Shaun Deeb opened shoved 1,825,000 from late position and Brian Yoon called from the small blind.

Brian Yoon: {a-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Shaun Deeb: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

The flop came {j-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Deeb was still ahead with his pair of kings. The {a-Diamonds} on the turn gave Yoon two-pair and now Deeb was drawing to only a king. The {8-Hearts} gave Yoon a full house and Deep was then sent to the payout desk.

Richards Gets Paid

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

The board read {3-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{8-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Jonathan Abdella bet 1,875,000 into a pot around 3,500,000. John Richards raised to 4,300,000 and Abdella made the call. The river fell the {4-Clubs} and Abdella checked to Richards who bet 5,500,000.

Abdella threw in a chip to indicate the call and Richards then flipped over pocket eights for a flopped set. Abdella shook his head slowly as he mucked his hand. Richards has over doubled his starting stack for the day and he does not seem to be showing any sign of slowing down.

Siebert Runs Into a Bigger Stack

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Richard Dubini
Richard Dubini

Sylvain Siebert opened to 625,000 from the cutoff and was called by Richard Dubini on the button along with the big blind. The flop came {a-Spades}{10-Spades}{5-Clubs} and the action checked around to the {9-Diamonds} on the turn.

The big blind checked again and Siebert tossed in a bet 1,750,000. Dubini called while the big blind laid his hand down. The {8-Clubs} landed on the river and both players knuckled the table. Dubini tabled {a-Hearts}{7-Hearts} and Siebert sent his cards to the muck.

Chartier Doubles Through Habib

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Sam Chartier was in the big blind and found a way to get all of his chips in the middle against Ubaid Habib on the button. Chartier was all in for 10,475,000 but happened to be holding {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}. Habib flipped over {4-Spades}{4-Clubs} and the two players awaited the flop.

The dealer fanned the flop of {a-Spades}{4-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and both players flopped a set. Habib was drawing to one out in the deck and the {7-Diamonds} on the turn nor the {8-Spades} on the river were of any help.

Drolet Doubles Through Deeb

Level 20 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Lucas Drolet opened to 675,000 from the button and Shaun Deeb raised to 1,750,000 from the small blind. Drolet then pushed over top for a total of 5,725,000 and Deeb counted out his own chips for a few moments before making the call. The players tabled their cards and Drolet would be at risk of elimination.

Lucas Drolet: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Shaun Deeb: {6-Diamonds}{6-Spades}

The flop came {7-Spades}{4-Clubs}{9-Hearts} and Deeb's pair of sixes were still good. The {a-Spades} on the river moved Drolet way ahead with a pair of aces and the {4-Diamonds} on the river did not help Deeb. Drolet took down the pot and left Deeb with just over ten big blinds in the process.
