Hands #36-40: Filatov Chips Up Further

Hand #36: Alexey Melnikov raised to 6.5 million with {Q-Spades}{8-Diamonds} on the button and Anatoly Filatov in the small blind flat-called with {A-Spades}{2-Spades}. Gor Kazaryan called in the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and three players headed to the {Q-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop.

Once the action checked to Melnikov, he bet 8.5 million and Filatov quickly got out of the way, Kazaryan gave it some thought and folded as well.

Hand #37: Viktor Khodorenko raised to 7 million with {A-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} first to act and Melnikov from one seat over three-bet to 20 million with {A-Spades}{A-Hearts}. That ended the hand right there, as all opponents including Khodorenko folded.

Hand #38: Filatov raised to 6.5 million with {2-Clubs}{2-Spades} in the cutoff and Khodorenko called in the big blind with {A-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Khodorenko paired his ace on {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and both players checked. On the {7-Diamonds} turn, the action was checked once more and so was the {K-Clubs} river. Khodorenko showed his ace and won the pot.

Hand #35: Gleb Tremzin moved all in for 31m with {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds} from under the gun, and Andrey Malyshev called with {10-Clubs}{10-Spades} in the cutoff and left himself with just 800,000 behind before Viktor Khodorenko also called with {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades} on the button.

The flop came down {k-Spades}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}. Malyshev checked, and Khodorenko bet 3m, enough to put him all in and the former called. The turn was the {7-Spades} and the river the {5-Diamonds}.

Malyshev's pocket tens held and he tripled up, with Tremzin eliminated in 6th place for 8,400,000 RUB.

Hand #28: Gor Kazaryan raised to 6 million in the cutoff with {A-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Alexey Melnikov in the big blind called with {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}. The flop brought {A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and Melnikov checked, Kazaryan checked behind and the duo headed to the {K-Hearts} turn.

Melnikov checked and a bet of 6 million did the trick for Kazaryan, who showed his ace.

Hand #29: Viktor Khodorenko raised to 7 million with {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts} and Melnikov called with the {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} in the small blind. The {Q-Spades}{J-Clubs}{J-Hearts} flop was checked by Melnikov and Khodorenko bet just 5 million, Melnikov came along.

After the {3-Clubs} turn, both players elected to check and the {2-Diamonds} river brought no action either to send the pot to Khodorenko.

Hand #30: Melnikov made it 9 million to go on the button with the {3-Hearts}{3-Spades} and that won the blinds and his own button ante.

Hand #31: Andrey Malyshev moved all in for 30.6 million first to act with the {A-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} and found no callers.

The board came down {j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} which gave Galitskiy no help, and he was the next player to be eliminated and claimed 7th place for 6,000,000 RUB.

Gor Kazaryan defended out of the big blind with {A-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and checked the {K-Hearts}{3-Spades}{2-Clubs} flop. Khodorenko continued for 3 million and Kazaryan called. The {8-Spades} came on the turn and Kazaryan checked again, Khodorenko bet 7 million and picked up another call.

The {9-Clubs} on the river was checked through and the pot was chopped up.

Hand #25: Mikhail Galitskiy raised to 6.5 million first to act with {7-Spades}{6-Spades} and Kazaryan called in the small blind with {5-Diamonds}{5-Spades}. The flop brought {8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{2-Spades} and Kazaryan checked, Galitskiy bet 4.5 million and Kazaryan called.

On the {K-Clubs} turn Kazaryan checked and Galitskiy bet 15 million into 23 million, Kazaryan check-raised to 40 million and used one time bank before calling. On the {3-Diamonds} river, Kazaryan moved all in for 73.3 million and Galitskiy instantly folded.

Hand #26: Gor Kazaryan raised to 6m from the button with {9-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} and Mikhail Galitskiy called in the big blind with {8-Clubs}{4-Hearts}. Galitskiy checked, Kazaryan bet 5.5m, and Galitskiy called.

The turn was the {j-Diamonds} and Galitskiy check-folded to a 12m bet.

Hand #17: Alexey Melnikov raised to 6.2 million with the {A-Spades}{J-Diamonds} in the cutoff and Gor Kazaryan in the big blind defended the {A-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} in the big blind. On the {K-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}{J-Hearts} flop, Kazaryan quickly checked and the {3-Diamonds} on the turn was also checked by both players.

The {3-Hearts} river gave Kazaryan back door trips and he bet 6.5 million. Melnikov used a time bank extension and sent his cards into the muck eventually.

Hand #18: Anatoly Filatov raised the {A-Hearts}{6-Spades} in the cutoff for 5.3 million and Andrey Malyshev in the big blind called with {7-Spades}{7-Hearts}. The flop came {Q-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and both players opted to check, which brought the {K-Diamonds} on the turn.

Malyshev checked once more and Filatov bet 3.5 million and Malyshev folded.

Hand #19: Melnikov raised the {A-Hearts}{J-Spades} to 6 million and Mikhail Galitskiy called from the big blind with {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. On the {7-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Clubs} flop, Galitskiy checked and called a bet of 4 million to turn top two pair with the {A-Spades}. Again both players checked, however, and the {8-Hearts} came on the river.

Galitskiy used one time bank extension and then bet 13 million, Melnikov folded.

Hand #20: Melnikov raised to 6 million from under the gun with {K-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} and Filatov three-bet to 14.5 million with {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} from one seat over. Chip leader Viktor Khodorenko in the big blind gave it some thought and folded the {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}, and Melnikov came to the same conclusion.

Hand #21: Galitskiy raised on the button for 5.5 million with {A-Spades}{7-Clubs} and Melnikov filled up from the big blind with {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs}. The flop came the {A-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{2-Hearts} and a bet of 3.5 million won the pot for Galitskiy.

Hand #22: Malyshev raised to 6 million with {A-Spades}{Q-Spades} in the hijack and Melnikov shoved for 67 million with the {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs} out of the small blind. Malyshev used one time bank and called.

The board came {8-Spades}{3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{J-Hearts} and Melnikov doubled in the very last hand of the level, the players then headed into a 20-minute break.

Hand #14: Mikhail Galitskiy raised to 5,5m from the button with {a-Hearts}{2-Spades}, and Viktor Khodorenko called in the small blind with {7-Spades}{5-Spades}, before Alexey Melnikov three-bet to 18.5m with {a-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and got both his opponents to fold.

Hand #15: Gor Kazaryan raised to 5m with {a-Hearts}{q-Spades} from early position, and Khodorenko called on the button with {a-Spades}{6-Spades} as did Filatov with {4-Hearts}{3-Hearts} in the big blind. The flop failed to appear in the stream graphics, but Kazaryan's continuation bet was enough to win the pot.
