The final flight of the 2018 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Russia Main Event will kick-off at Noon local time today as players from all around the world get their final opportunity to build a stack before the start of Day 2 on Friday, August, 10.
The Main Event comes with a RUB300,000+18,000 (~$4,900) buy-in and features a massive guarantee of 300 Million Russian Rubles (approximately $4.7 Million). Yesterday saw 94 players progress from the 186 player field, with Maksim Pisarenko taking the chip lead after he bagged 5,375,000.
Other big stacks to advance from Day 1b included Alexandr Labunskiy (5,115,000), Alimbay Sultanov (5,110,000), Jessica Pilkington (4,900,000) and Dirk Bueker (4,510,000), as they join the 106 players who completed all eight levels on Day 1a, as well as the qualifiers from Sunday, August, 5's online flight.
Once again eight 60-minute levels will be played today, with players getting a break after every two levels, which includes a 45-minute dinner break after level six. When the players take their seats in the Sochi Casino Poker Room, they will be given a massive 1,000,000 in starting chips.

Late registration will be open until the end of the first break in tomorrow's Day 2, so those who are unable to progress from any of the four live and online starting flights will have the opportunity to purchase a fresh 1,000,000 chip stack to play with on Day 2 if they so wish.

The tournament director has got the final starting flight of the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Russia Main Event underway at the Sochi Casino and Hotel.
The flight has kicked-off with no less than 110 players in their seat as they take their final opportunity to build a big stack for tomorrow's Day 2.
Day 1a drew in 201 entrants, and yesterday's Day 1c saw 186 players. Day 1c is widely expected to be the busiest of three live starting days.
Aleksandr Gofman has taken his Day 1c seat as he looks to replicate to run to champion once again.
Gofman took down the 2017 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Russia Main Event after he came through a 999 player field to bank a payday worth $1,000,000.
Since then, he has recorded a further 14 recorded live cashes including six at the 2018 World Series of Poker in Las Vegas.

Rudolf Domin raised from the hijack and saw Georgiy Filippovich on the button and Denis Grigoriev in the big blind call. The flop came down , and Domin bet 60,000 after Grigoriev had checked. Both Domin's opponents called, and the turn was revealed to be the .
Grigoriev checked once more, and Domin continued his aggression, this time betting a massive 225,000. Filippovich gave his next move some thought, but ultimately he folded as did Grigoriev.
Domin spoke to the table as the dealer pushed the pot towards him, and his seat neighbor defending champion Aleksandr Gofman flipped over Domin's ace-of-clubs card after it was shown to him to reveal Domin held at the very least the nut flush draw.

The entries number has reached 150 as the Sochi Casino Poker Room fills more and more tables on Day 1c.
Two players have already come and gone in the first level as Jeff Hakim and Timofey Asmolov have busted.
Hakim from Lebanon has $1,385,172 in recorded live cashes with his best cash coming for a 22nd place finish at the 2016 World Series of Poker Main Event for $ 269,430.
Both players will have the option to re-enter today or tomorrow in the first three levels of play.
