Hands #227: Hindocha Extends Chip Lead as Luo is Left Short

Level 24 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Nishid Hindocha
Nishid Hindocha

Hand #227: Nishid Hindocha raised the button to 120,000 with {j-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and Xiaoyang Luo defended his big blind with {j-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}.

The flop came {j-Spades}{10-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} giving both players top pair and Luo called Hindocha's 120,000 continuation bet. The turn brought the {2-Clubs} and the action went check-check.

The {J-Clubs} river gave both players trips, but it was Hindocha ahead with the higher kicker and he called a 515,000 bet to extend his chip lead and leave Luo short on 250,000.

Hand #242: Morris Secures Miracle River Double

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante
Steven Morris
Steven Morris

Hand #242: Steven Morris moved all in with {2-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} from the button for 995,000. Nishid Hindocha quickly called with {a-Hearts}{10-Hearts}.

There was a ten on the flop of {4-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Diamonds} giving Hindocha the lead. The {7-Clubs} on the turn meant it looked more and more likely that Hindocha would be our Super High Roller champion, but the {2-Spades} on the river gave Morris a miracle set and doubled him up.

The stacks are now, amazingly, level.
