Durnegger Turns Over Aces

Level 1 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Insaf Shamsutdinov limped the smal blind, and Markus Durnegger raised to 15,000 on the big blind, with Shamsutdinov making the call.

Both players checked through the {6-Spades}{5-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop, and Shamsutdinov check called a 15,000 bet on the {8-Clubs} turn.

Shamsutdinov checked again on the {a-Diamonds} river, Durnegger bet 30,000 and Shamsutdinov called. Durnegger showed down {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} for a rivered set of aces and took down the pot.

Simunic Off to a Better Start

Level 1 : 2,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Josip Simunic
Josip Simunic

Josip Simunic is also one of the players that is on his second bullet. He saw Ryan Rivers open from the cutoff to 15,000 and he called from the button. Big blind Jonas Lauck, on his second bullet as well, defended his big blind.

The {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Clubs} flop was dealt and it checked to Simunic. The Austrian partypoker Pro took over the betting initiative after he bet 20,000. Rivers was the only player that stuck around. Rivers check-folded on the {9-Clubs} after Simunic bet 36,000.

Kubenka Wins Against Kisacikoglu

Level 2 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

The complete {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{9-Spades}{8-Spades} board was already on the table with about 100,000 in the middle and Orpen Kisacikoglu was the one who had checked from the big blind to Petr Kubenka in the under-the-gun position. Kubenka had bet 55,000 and Bart Lybaert got out of the way in the cutoff before the action was back on Kisacikoglu.

'OrpTheTurk' ended up calling but mucked his hand when he was shown {a-Spades}{k-Clubs} by Kubenka.

Rivers Keeps Rolling

Level 2 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

With about 300,000 already in the pot, Ryan Rivers put in a pot-size bet for 300,000 from the big blind on the river of a {9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{3-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Spades} board.

Jonas Lauck tanked for a few moments before putting in the call from the hijack, but mucked when he saw Rivers' {k-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} for a flopped top two pair.

Josip Simunic raised to 100,000, and Kometiani took pause, used a time bank chip and eventually made the call.

Simunic bet 130,000 on the {10-Diamonds} river, and Kometiani folded.

Durnegger Surprised to Win on the River

Level 2 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Markus Durnegger was the one that opened the action from under the gun with a raise to 14,000 but the only player with any interest in the pot was big blind Insaf Shamsutdinov.

The flop was dealt {j-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{2-Clubs} and Shamsutdinov check-called a bet of 12,000 from Durnegger before the {8-Diamonds} was dealt. Shamsutdinov check-called again on the turn but the bet by Durnegger was 46,000 this time.

The river was the {7-Clubs} and Shamsutdinov led out with a bet of 85,000. Durnegger called by putting a 100,000 chip next to Shamsutdinov, seemingly thinking he would lose the hand, but his {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs} were enough to win against the {j-Spades}{8-Spades} of Shamsutdinov.
