Kurganov Busts Trickett, Siow

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante
Igor Kurganov
Igor Kurganov

Sam Trickett opened to 35,000 under the gun, and Igor Kurganov raised to 105,000 from the hijack.

Choon Tong Siow went all in for 114,000 total from the big blind, Trickett rerasied all in to 510,000, and Kurganov called.

Choon Tong Siow: {10-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}
Sam Trickett: {q-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Igor Kurganov: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

It was as good of a situation as possible for Kurganov, who stood to score a double elimination and take the chip lead. Kurganov's pocket kings held up through the {9-Spades}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} runout, trimming the field to 10 players.

Kabrhel Knocked Out in 10th Place

Level 13 : 8,000/16,000, 16,000 ante

Martin Kabrhel went all in for his last 73,000 from the cutoff, and Paul Phua called from the small blind. Vladimir Troyanovskiy came along in the big blind, and Phua and Troyanovskiy went heads-up to a side pot.

The flop came {2-Spades}{3-Clubs}{5-Spades}, and both players checked. Troyanovskiy bet 50,000 on the {4-Hearts} turn, and Phua called. Both players checked the {5-Clubs} river, and Troyanovskiy showed {a-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, beating out Phua's {a-Hearts}{3-Spades} for the superior straight.

Kabrhel, with {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, was eliminated, and the unofficial nine-handed final table will commence.
