Day 3 of partypoker LIVE MILLIONS North America Main Event Sees Kevin Rabichow Out Front as Money Bubble Looms

Welcome back to the 2019 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS North America, and the Playground Poker Club in Kahnawake, Quebec, Canada, for Day 3 of the CA$10,300 Main Event.

Just 66 players return for Day 3 action, and unfortunately for three of them, their day will be a sour one as the money bubble looms in the Main Event as the top 63 players will finish in-the-money with a guaranteed CA$20,000. Once those three players are eliminated, players will then begin to jostle for a position on the leaderboard as they make a run at firstly reaching the penultimate day of play before setting eyes on the final table.

Best placed currently is Canadian Kevin Rabichow who finished Day 2 as the chip leader with 30,105,000 in chips. His nearest rival is Armin Rezaei who bagged 21,030,000, while below him is Francois Billard (19,795,000), Dietrich Fast (18,895,000), Maurice Hawkins (18,810,000), and Santiago Plante (17,510,000). Still in the hunt include Sam Grafton, Will Givens, Bryn Kenney, Mike McDonald, Manig Loeser, Griffin Benger, Marc-Andre Ladouceur, Upeshka De Silva, Tony Ruberto, Sergio Aido, and partypoker pro Joni Jouhkimainen.

Blinds for Day 3 will begin at 80,000-160,000 and a big blind ante of 160,000, and there will eight levels of 75-minutes with a dinner break following the completion of level 24; approximately 5:15 p.m. (EDT), and play ending at approximately 11:30 p.m. (EDT).

Hegele Doubles Up on the First Hand

On the first hand at the table, the action folded to Griffin Benger on the button who raised to 365,000. Babak Forozandeh called from the small blind and Robin Hegele tagged along from the big blind.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{3-Spades} and Forozandeh started with a check. Hegele made a bet of 425,000, leaving himself with just 155,000 behind. Benger folded and Forozandeh raised to cover Hegele's stack which he quickly called.

Hegele turned over {k-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} which was ahead of Forozandeh's {8-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and the river was the {a-Diamonds} to secure Hegele a double up to start the day.
