Welcome Back for Day 2 of partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Vegas at Aria

Aria
Aria

Today is the day where all of the players will gather under one roof at the Aria Resort and Casino for Day 2 of the 2019 partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Vegas at Aria. There will be 279 players returning from the two opening starting flights as well as any others looking to take advantage of the extended late registration period.

After the two starting flights, there were a total of 443 entrants which means around 60 more will be needed on Day 2 to reach the $5,000,000 guaranteed prizepool put up by partypoker. That will likely be a non-issue as late registration will remain open for the first two levels. After some discussion yesterday, the re-entry policy is as follows: players who have bagged for Day 2 will be permitted one further re-entry should they bust during the first two levels of play; players are permitted one entry per day, therefore players who choose to enter at the start of Day 2 will not be able to re-enter should they bust during the first two levels of play.

Heading into the start of play, Taylor Paur will carry forward the chip lead after a widely successful Day 1b. Paur bagged up an impressive 580,500 chips, far more than his closest competitor Sergi Reixach who finished with 488,500. Rounding out the top three stacks will be Govert Metaal who came through the Day 1a field with 482,500 chips.

There will be plenty of partypoker team members to keep an eye out for as nearly all of them found a bag through the opening two flights. Jason Koon and Roberto Romanello are the only ones who will need to fork up another buy-in if they wish to take a seat on Day 2.

The action will kick off at 11 a.m. local time, one hour earlier than the two Day 1s. The blinds will resume on level 9 at 1,000/2,000 with a 2,000 big blind ante. The levels will continue to be 60 minutes in length with a 15-minute break after every two levels and a 60-minute dinner break taking place after the sixth level of the day. There will be 10 levels on the schedule for today as the players look to close in on the money bubble.
