After the completion of four starting days, the 2021 MILLIONS North Cyprus $2,200 Warm-Up will enter the second stage as of 12.30 pm local time. All those that survived their respective flight will return to the convention centre of the five-star Merit Crystal Cove Hotel Casino & Spa in Girne, North Cyprus. The tournament initially came with a $500,000 guarantee but that amount has already been more than doubled with at least 511 entries across the first three starting days.

The final turbo heat is currently ongoing with 26 entries and 20 players remaining. Those making it through will join the 266 survivors of the previous three starting days and then have a short break before the action recommences. Day 2 will kick off with blinds of 1,200/2,500 and a big blind ante of 2,500, which gives all new entries 40 big blinds.
The late registration and re-entry period remains open for the first four levels and the level duration until the conclusion is 60 minutes each. Day 2 will play until the money bubble has been burst and the penultimate day then whittles down the field to the nine-handed final table. The event is slated to crown a champion on Monday, September 20, 2021.

Leading the field into Day 2 is Bulgaria's Fahredin Mustafov with 638,000 in chips. Another three players crossed more than half a million invluding Muharrem Atsiz, Nicolas Chouity and Yasen Dichev. Among the big stacks are also Aleksandr Gofman, Marwan Salamoun, Georges Hanna, Piotr Sowinski, Georgios Tsouloftas, and Florian Duta to name all but a few.

There is a loud buzz by hundreds of poker players waiting just outside of the tournament area and 22 players made it through the Turbo Heat 1c. Among the chip leaders was Osman Ihlamur, who will be back with more than the average stack.
It appears that a field of 541 entries has emerged thus far and 288 players remain. However, several contenders are about to enter and wait for the opportunity to redeem chips for a seat assignment. All 32 players in the main tournament area are in use for the restart.

All tables 33 and higher are in the secondary cash game tournament room and among those seated there at the start are Georgios Tsouloftas, Lukas Zaskodny, Bart Lybaert, Katherina Aristotelos and chip leader Fahredin Mustafov. These tables will be the first to break once the field size permits during the registration period.
The cards of Ilyaz Dosikov were already in the muck and the Russian departed from the tournament area. He had gone all-in with ace-queen on a flop and Lachezar Petkov snap-called with the for the top two pair. The turn sealed Dosikov's fate and that made the river a formality.

On a heads-up turn of , Silma Macalou checked his option in the small blind and then called a bet worth 55,000 by Frank Koopmann on the button. Macalou also checked the river and reluctantly paid off a final barrel for 75,000.
