Within the first three levels of Day 1A the field has grown to 297 entries, of which 268 players remain for the €10,300 Main Event here in Barcelona. The blinds in level four are now at 7,000/14,000 with a button ante of 14,000 and among the three dozen players to bust were such big names as Aku Joentausta, Max Silver, Michael Sklenicka, Luc Greenwood, Laszlo Bujtas, Chino Rheem and Anton Wigg.

All players can fire an optional single re-entry in order to run up a stack, as for Silver he will have to wait for Day 1B as of 5 p.m. local time as the Brit busted twice within just 45 minutes.

Among the early big stacks are Ahmed Abdella (3.9 million), Pedro Cairat (2.0 million), Andreas Eiler (1.8 million) and Arne Ruge (1.7 million). The partypoker brand is represented by Richard Dubini, Dzmitry Urbanovich, Johnny Lodden, Anatoly Filatov, team online's Renato Nomura and Kristen Bicknell. The latter joined just after the first break while her boyfriend Alex Foxen had jumped in earlier and was cut down to a mere 200,000 on a table with Steve O'Dwyer.

In the €101,000 Super High Roller, there are eight players remaining over on the feature table after Mikita Badziakouski had been eliminated in 9th place to miss out on the official final table group shot. A mega satellite with 50 tickets guaranteed has kicked off at 2 p.m. local time with currently 239 entries, and 13 rebuys were purchased thus far.
