More Than $200,000 Collected so Far in WPT Grand

The total field in WPT Grand is now up to 213 entries, meaning they are less than $100,000 away from the guarantee. There's more than 90 minutes left in late registration, so this looks to be heading towards a pretty nice prize pool. There are no ambassadors figuring in the top end of the counts on this one yet, but the top stack already has almost 5 million chips.

Staples with Early Stack in WPT Sunday $530

They are into Level 3 of WPT Sunday $530, and partypoker Team Online ambassador Jaime Staples is in the top five counts. The popular Canadian streamer announced on Twitter earlier in the day that he he'd be grinding today, but not streaming, and so far, it appears to be going well for him.

Staples is sitting on a 5th place stack of just over 200,000 while Pedro Madeira leads the way with one bounty and a stack of 233,348.

WPT Super $530 and WPT Super $55 are Off and Running

Two more games just kicked off after the top of the hour. WPT Super $530 is a WPT rebrand of The Sunday 500, with an increased $200,000 guarantee, while WPT Super $55 is a low buy-in, high-value game with $125,000 guaranteed.

WPT Super $530 gets underway with 68 entries to start the game, while the WPT Super $55 has almost 600 runners to start.

WPT Grand has More Than $150,000 Collected So Far

The WPT Grand isn't even 30 minutes old yet, and more than half the guarantee has already been collected. There are 157 entries in the game now, with 146 stacks still in play, meaning there's currently $158,994 collected so far. There is still 2.5 hours to get into the game, so things are looking good for a grand Grand today.

WPT Grand is Underway

The WPT edition of The Grand, with an increased $300,000 guarantee is now off and running with cards in the air. There are already 119 entries in the game with more than $120,000 collected so far, but there's still almost three full hours to get into the game. Players can rebuy once if needed.

partypoker ambassador Joao Simao is among the early leader with 1,666,038, but Engbert Van Esch is the current leader with almost 2.9 million. Patrick Leonard is also making good on his #nevermissasunday hashtag as he's in action in this one as well already.
