There's a big day in store on partypoker today, with The Grand already underway. There are 109 players in the game already, and rebuys and late registration are open for just under 2.5 hours.

There is $200,000 guaranteed in the Grand, but a lot more than that to play for on partypoker today. The World Cup of Cards (WCC) Mini Main Event with $200,000 guaranteed plays the final day today starting at 15:05 eastern time, with the WCC Montreal Masters Final Day playing out alongside it.

Day 1C of the WCC Main Event also plays out later today, along with the $500,000 guaranteed Malibu Big Game Phase 2.

Add in the Final Day of the Weekender, and the Sunday 500, and there is well over $1,000,000 guaranteed in the big events on partypoker today. Stay tuned here through the day for updates on the action from all the big games.

Players have gone on their first break in The Grand, with 125 entries currently on the board, and 116 still in action. Late registration is open for just over 2 hours more, so plenty of time left to get into the game. Currently, they are more than half way to the guarantee.

Roman Sweeney leads the way currently with 2,618,523 chips, followed by Oscar Smith with just over 2.5 million. Juan Lazano, Evangelos Raptis, and Aaron Dyson round out the top five stacks.

Team partypoker member Jeff Gross is also in action in The Grand today, currently sitting on 627,150 chips.

Hunting down partypoker “predators” earns you $22 tickets to the site’s Daily Legends tournament sporting the same name.

The $22 Predator is one of the most popular tournaments on the Daily Legends schedule. It runs Monday through Saturday at 5:05 p.m. GMT and features a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.

That in itself is worth playing in the Predator, but the Predator Hunt promotion adds even more value. Up to 19 specially selected “predators” will frequent The Predator during the week and these 19 stars have an extra bounty on their heads in addition to the tournament’s bounty.

With more than 30 minutes left in registration, the $200,000 guarantee has now been surpassed. There are currently 205 entries with 122 still left in action, putting the prize pool at $205,312 currently with time left for that to grow further.

Eliu Gonzalez is also the first player to gather more than 5 million chips, but the current top five all have more than 4 million.

Action in the World Cup of Cards (WCC) is set to begin just after the top of the hour with three big events on the schedule today. Day 1C of WCC #05: Main Event is the biggest one, with players looking for a seat in the $1 million guaranteed Day 2. Running alongside Day 1C of the big Main is WCC #06: Mini Main Day 1C, as well as WCC #10: Malibu Big Game with $500,000 guaranteed.

Before jumping into the game today, Twitch Team member Jaime Staples announced on Twitter he was going for his fifth cash in a row in The Grand. Sadly, that wasn't to be today as he ended his day in 93rd place. His fellow streamer Jeff Gross is still in the game though with 1,536,356.
