It isn't quite enough to secure the early chip lead, as Romanian Andrei Grimberg is currently sitting with around 158,000 in front of him.

The turn prompted a check from Schlott, and Breviglieri took a stab of 7,700 at the pot. Schlott threw out two orange chips worth 5,000 to signal the call and checked once more on the river. Breviglieri checked back, but she couldn't beat the of Schlott, and her hand hit the muck.
"Oh, only Aces," a tablemate noted. Schlott just shrugged and started stacking his newly-won chips.

Among the players skipping Day 1 of the High Roller, at least for now, include partypoker Ambassador Jan-Peter Jachtmann, Dusk Till Dawn Owner Rob Yong and 2011 EPT Tallinn Main Event winner Ronny Kaiser.
The trio is instead playing a high-stakes €100/€100 pot-limit Omaha game along with a player only referred to as Darvin and Serbia's Ognjen Sekularac.

The partypoker Ambassador continued for 7,000 on the flop but checked the turn back to Wik. Wik took the initiative on the river, but Breviglieri quickly called the 12,600 bet on the river and raked in the pot with for a rivered straight while Wik's hit the muck.
