Day 2 Started
With players from Day 1a through Day 1g joining together, the Day 2 field of the €1M guaranteed partypoker LIVE MILLION Germany Main Event is sure to be a battle of the highest level. A lot of familiar faces are at the King's Casino in Rozvadov today, where qualifiers from both the online and live heats will be combined for a final showdown for the very first time.
Current chip leader going into Day 2 is German player Jung Dirg, who amassed an impressive 1,227,100 chips after 12 levels of play on Day 1a. He is still the only player to break into seven figures, but a lot of players are chasing his tail with Czech Josef Antoš as the closest contender with 950,000. Both men will have high hopes of making Day 3 with a chip count to challenge for the €200,000 top prize, but they'll have plenty of company in the chasing pack from their opening days at the felt.

Partypoker Tournament Director Christian Scalzi has asked the dealers to shuffle up and deal the first hand of Day 2.
With around 80 players advancing from today's turbo heat and just 15 minutes between Day 1g ended and Day 2 restarted, there has been no time to compose a list with the players advancing.
What we do know is, that right around 80 players made it through and are now back at the felt after a quick stretching of legs. Among the notables advancing are partypoker Ambassador Natalia Breviglieri, partypoker streamer Jonty Willis, Philipp Gruissem, Andre Haneberg, Norbert Berent and Aleksandar Tomovic.

King's Casino regular Fozzy is well-known for wearing a Pittsburgh Steelers jersey while playing. He is also well-known for loud celebrations when he wins a hand.
He advanced from the Turbo Day 1g into Day 2 with about 10 big blinds. Very soon after Day 2 began, he jammed his stack with king-jack and was called by a player with ace-ten. The queen-ten-eight flop gave him a straight draw and two overcards.
After the nine completed his straight on the turn, Fozzy shouted loudly enough for everyone in the tournament area to hear, "Yeah!"
A seven completed the board on the river and Fozzy increased his stack to 137,000.

Many players that qualified to Day 2 via an online Day 1 had odd chip count numbers due to no chip runoffs and the general nature of online poker.
Their chip stacks were rounded off. As an example, partypoker Sponsored Pro Jan-Peter Jachtmann ended one of the online opening days with 410,214 and the stack was rounded to 410,000.

Yehuda Bardugo came into the pot with a raise to 12,000 from early position, and both the button and small blind made the call. Rehman Kassam in the big blind moved all-in for 105,000 total and with action back on Bardugo he reshoved for more than 600,000. The two remaining players wanted none of that, and the pot was heads up.
