McDonald Jams Into Crema

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante

On the heads-up turn of {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Spades}, Thiago Crema checked out of the big blind and called a bet worth 500,000 by George McDonald in the cutoff.

The {10-Clubs} fell on the river and Crema checked. McDonald now jammed for just over 2.1 million and Crema tank-folded.

Arends; Koon and Bicknell No More

Level 20 : 80,000/160,000, 20,000 ante
Jiang vs Bicknell
Jiang vs Bicknell

Jason Koon chopped with ace-seven versus ace-eight but vanished shortly after in 128th place. Right after, another big name fell.

Jans Arends saw his stack cut in half by Adrian Mateos and he then lost a flip with {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} against the {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} of Kristen Bicknell.

Bicknell moved up to more than 5 million but she then clashed with Sosia Jiang. The New Zealander defended the big blind to see a flop of {k-Clubs}{10-Spades}{7-Spades} and check-raised to 2,080,000. Bicknell jammed for 5.5 million and Jiang called.

Kristen Bicknell: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Sosia Jiang: {k-Spades}{q-Diamonds}

The {j-Clubs} turn gave Jiang straight outs and she indeed got there on the {9-Clubs} river to eliminate Bicknell in cruel fashion.

Bremner vs Ruivo
Bremner vs Ruivo

Martin Bremner was one of two qualifiers who earned their spot all the way from a $5 satellite and he made several pay-jumps on Day 2. However, his run just came to an end as he sent the chips over to Manuel Ruivo.

Manuel Fritz opened to 320,000 and Bremner jammed for the 1,069,927 he had left. Ruivo reraised to 1,824,000 and that isolated successfully.

Martin Bremner: {9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}
Manuel Ruivo: {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}

The board ran out {q-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{10-Hearts} and that spelled the end for Bremner.

Steve O'Dwyer: {a-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

The board ran out {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Hearts} for both of them to hit two pair but for O'Dwyer to hold with the higher kicker to eliminate Plant.
