Level 31 has begun with blinds of 35,000/70,000 and an ante of 8,750, and "Stonniepokes" has taken the chip lead after winning a three-bet pot against Chris “rumpthumper” White that saw both players put 510,000 into the middle preflop before checking down a dangerous runout. When the two players reached showdown, "Stonniepokes" showed 
for nothing more than a pair, but it proved to be good and they took down the pot to overtake the chip lead.

where action checked through to the river 
. White checked once more and "Stonniepokes" made a bet of 240,000, which White called to take the hand to showdown.
for aces up and White was unable to beat it. With the pot, "Stonniepokes" is now within a few big blinds of claiming the chip lead as five-handed play continues.
