Sherrier Devouts "phillychzsteak1"

In Level 15 (2,500/5,000/625), the short-stacked "phillychzsteak1" moved all in for 22,450 under the gun and "Jmhusc1" called from middle position. Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier then three-bet jammed for 108,065 from the big blind and "Jmhusc1" got out of the way.

"phillychzsteak1": {a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier: {10-Hearts}{a-Hearts}

Sherrier had the better kicker with his ace and it made the difference as the board ran out {2-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}. With that, Sherrier collected the bounty while "phillychzsteak1" fell two spots shy of the money.

Sherrier Flips Vanauken Out of the Tournament

In Level 14 (2,000/4,000/500), Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier opened for 8,800 under the gun and then called when Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken three-bet all in for 66,102 from the small blind.

Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken: {9-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Brian “TopCreature” Sherrier: {q-Spades}{a-Hearts}

It was a flip with a 138,704 pot on the line. The {10-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Diamonds} flop was safe enough for Vanauken, but then disaster struck when the {q-Hearts} spiked on the turn to pair Sherrier.

the {k-Hearts} river was no help to Vanauken, and his run came up short of the money in 10th place, though he did earn $300 in bounties.

David "TheKing411" Coleman Talks About Big partypoker US Network WPT Online Poker Open Win

At the beginning of July, the partypoker US Network in New Jersey reached a sizzling conclusion when the WPT Online Poker Open, which combined fields from partypoker US, Borgata Poker and BetMGM Poker crowned a winner. The Main Event drew a field of 868 entries, generating a lofty $317,540 prize pool which surpassed its $300k guarantee. It marked the largest ever event for the New Jersey online poker network surpassing the $302,100 prize pool for the $320 buy-in partypoker US Network $250K GTD back on March 29.

In the end, it was David "TheKing411" Coleman who emerged victorious for a payday of $56,586. In addition to the first-place prize, he also earned a WPT Championship Trophy and an $11,000 prize package which includes entry into the next WPT in-person live event, the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, which will take place at Bellagio in Las Vegas ($10,400 buy-in), as well as $600 in cash towards travel expenses.

David Coleman spoke to PokerNews about the win.

Vanauken Collects Another Bounty; Up to $300

In Level 12 (1,600/3,200/350), action folded around to "njpokeraa" and they moved all in for 24,010 from the button. Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken was in the big blind and opted to take a shot at another bounty.

"njpokeraa": {j-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}
Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken: {5-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}

"njpokeraa" got it in good and held on the {q-Diamonds}{q-Clubs}{7-Clubs} flop. Unfortunately for them, the {5-Hearts} peeled off on the turn to pair Vanauken and give him the lead. The {a-Spades} river was of no consequence and Vanauken scored another knockout, which meant another bounty went in his pocket.

He has now collected $300 in bounties.

Double Elimination for Angel "chromeking" Lopez

Angel Lopez
Angel Lopez

The preflop action escaped us in Level 11 (1,400/2,800/350), but we do know that both "RiverMan," who had recently re-entered, and "odo23" were all in for roughly 30,000 apiece and at risk against Angel "chromeking" Lopez.

Angel "chromeking" Lopez: {10-Hearts}{10-Spades}
"odo23": {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
"RiverMan": {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}

Lopez had the best of it nad he collected two bounties as the board ran out a clean, lowly {9-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades}.

Another Bounty for Vanauken

In the last hand of Level 10 (1,200/2,400/300), "RiverMan" moved all in for 12,415 under the gun and Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken isolated by three-bet jamming for 50,113 from the hijack. The rest of the players folded and it was off to the races.

Eric “alwaysliquid” Vanauken: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
"RiverMan": {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}

It was a classic flip but "RiverMan" needed to improve to stay alive. Unfortunately for them, that proved easier said than done as the board ran out {10-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{j-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} to give the pot and bounty to Vanauken.
