Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo Wins Phase Multi-Flight $50,000 GTD Main Event ($14,792)

On Sunday, the latest partypoker US Network Online Series wrapped up with the conclusion of its 14-event schedule. That included the $50K GTD NLH 6-Max Main Event, which was played in a phased format.

For a week, players had the chance to play in $25 buy-in flights – 518 entrants did that – to qualify for the Day 2 finale. Players could also pay $215 to buy in directly, and which meant Day 2 attracted 305 entries and created a $64,314 prize pool.

After seven and a half hours of play, it was Daniel "centrfieldr23" Lupo walking away with the title and $14,792.36 top prize. It was the third win for Lupo in as many monsht as last month he won Event #6: $10,000 GTD PKO Bounty Boost for $3,658 and back in June he took down Event #5: $15,000 GTD Black Chip Bounty for $6,866.

Among those to cash the tournament but fall short of the final table were BorgataPoker.com Ambassador Michael “Gags30” Gagliano (7th - $2,025.89), David “TheKing411” Coleman (8th - $1,479.22), Dan "mj23style" Sewnig (10th - $964.71), Eric "alwaysliquid" Vanauken (11th - $964.71), “BrigBrach” (19th - $707.45), Ross “Thehebrewhammer” Gottleib (26th - $643.14), and Ryan “TheSims” Hohner (33rd - $578.82).

The next partypoker US Network Online Series will take place in early September. Details and a schedule for that series are expected to be released this week.
